Dr Rene de Seze received his MD in 1985 on Magnetic Resonance Imaging and his PhD in "Life Sciences" in 1991 from the University of Bordeaux II, France. After some years at the Radiology Department and the Medical School of Nimes, University of Montpellier 1, he is currently working at the National Institute for Industrial Environment and Risks INERIS, near Paris, the research institute of the ecology Ministry. He is now heading the Toxicology laboratory, with 5 engineers, 6 technicians and 5 PhD students. He published about 15 papers and presented more than 70 meeting communications in different EMF areas: therapeutics, exposure systems or mainly biological effects, specifically in human volunteers. His research focuses since some years on the health effects of radiocellular phone microwaves. He served as member, secretary or President of some national (SFRP-NIR), European (EBEA) and international (BEMS) organisations which are working on bioelectromagnetics. He also served in the biology ICNIRP sub-commission since May 2000. |
