Postdoc study at University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, U.K, (1988). 1995-2000, senior scientist at Swiss Federal Institute for Environmental Sciences (EAWAG). 2000-2002 head of research network on mobile communication. Since 2003, set-up and head of Swiss Research Foundation on Mobile Communication.1992- present: lecturer at ETH Zurich, Dpt. of Environmental Sciences and Dpt. of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. Main research area: Risk research (risk perception, risk communication, participatory methods). Topical focii: EMF, energy, environment. Swiss Co-ordinator of COST-Action 281 (2001-2007) and COST-Action BM0704 (since 2008). Member of International Committee on Electromagnetic Safety (IEEE), about 80 academic and other publications in peer reviewed journals, proceedings, and scientific magazines, 6 books, principal or co-investigator of over 20 research projects.
